How to Dress for Running in Cooler Temperatures
Stay warm and prepared this fall and winter when you head out to run.
Layers
Pockets
Over prepared is better than underprepared. This is why layering is key in the late fall and winter months. You can easily adjust if you're too warm. A packable jacket is perfect for this.
Pockets go hand in hand with layering. Having extra available pockets for gloves or a hat when you get too warm is great because you’re not stuck carrying them for the rest of your run.
Performance Fabric
Clothing that is breathable/ sweat-wicking/quick drying fabrics is a necessary essential in the winter. These technical fabrics pull sweat away from the skin and then dry quickly so you’re not running in wet clothing.
