Didn’t really feel like sweat wicking or quickly drying material suitable for running — the pockets are nice but I returned because the fabric was kind of itchy and made these uncomfortable when I tried this on.
I absolutely love these shorts, just ordered my second pair. I wear them all the time for short and long (20+ mile) runs, both on the road and the trail, and in all sorts of weather. They are supportive, the legs do not ride up, the pockets hold lots (phone, gels, keys, water bottle, etc.). I have had no issues with chafing while wearing these. I also have very sensitive skin and some athletic materials can irritate it; the material of these shorts does not irritate my skin, even in very hot/humid conditions. They are thick but still breathable, and the price point is perfect - it is tough to find shorts this solid for a reasonable price. I have recommended them to friends and would recommend them to anyone.
I am 5’5” 130ish pounds with thicker thighs and I wear a size small. The bottoms of the legs feel a bit tight at first but feel fine when I run. I think if i would have sized up, the waistband would have been too big.
I have had 4 pair for several years before adding to the count recently and also getting pairs for my daughter. These are great shorts, very comfortable, don't ride up, lots of pockets. The only thing that is crazy about them is the little tag in the back of the waistband at the seam that hangs down right in the b*tt cr*ck and drives me crazy--I forgot to cut it out and went for a run and promptly cut it out upon return. Why don't y'all go tagless? Or sew that tag off-center so that it presses firmly against a b*tt cheek or hip without making the wearer insane!? Obviously, if that is my only complaint, and it's fixable by cutting the tag out, it is overall a very minor problem, but nonetheless, I cannot believe I am the only person with this issue--I cut the tag out of my old shorts and years later, I am still cutting the tag out!
I found these shorts from an ad originally as I was looking for good running shorts for training for and doing my first marathon. I ended up getting these due to the price, pockets and good reviews. I’m so happy I got these, they are definitely my new fav running shorts! The pockets are amazing and really are good at holding fuel for long runs or just phone and keys for shorter runs. They also don’t really ride up at all. Lastly, I got the midnight grey color and was worried it would really show sweat and/or be kind of see through. They are definitely not see through and they show a little sweat but it’s certainly not bad (even on 20+ mile hot runs). I would highly recommend these to anyone and will plan on getting more pairs for myself too!
These are so comfortable and the pockets are amazing. I can fit so much (a phone and more) in the back pocket, plus the side pockets, so these will be perfect for marathon training and racing. The material is stretchy and very soft. I have big quads from cycling so I was afraid I might need to size up, but they fit like a charm, the size guide is right on. I’ll be buying a pair in every color. Please restock those beautiful cobalt blue ones that drew my eye to this brand in the first place! :)
Complete the run.
